CONCEPT OF ICT

ICT stands for 'Information Communication Technology'. ICT is a general term that refers to various technological tools and resources that are being used to create, collect, store, edit, distribute, manage, information in various forms.

It refers to technology that includes electronic devices and associated human interactive content that enables the user to employ them for a wide range of teaching-learning processes. ICT includes IT and CT. It is defined as the study or use of any electronic device or interconnected system for the acquisition, storage, manipulation, management, transmission, or reception of data or information. CT is defined as the study or use of any electronic system for sending, receiving, and exchanging communication between individuals or groups.

Definitions of ICT

According to Howland, "a diverse set of technological tools and resources used to communicate, create, store, and manage information."

According to UNESCO, “ICT is a scientific, technical and engineering discipline and management technique used in handling social, economic and cultural matters of the breadth of information, its application and association.”

आईसीटी की अवधारणा (CONCEPT OF ICT)

आईसीटी का अर्थ 'सूचना संचार प्रौद्योगिकी' है।आईसीटी एक सामान्य शब्द है जो विभिन्न तकनीकी उपकरणों और संसाधनों का उल्लेख करता है जिनका उपयोग विभिन्न रूपों में सूचना बनाने, एकत्र करने, भंडारण, संपादन, वितरण, प्रबंधन, सूचना के लिए किया जा रहा है।

इसका तात्पर्य उस तकनीक से है जिसमें इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरण और संबद्ध मानव इंटरैक्टिव सामग्री शामिल है जो उपयोगकर्ता को शिक्षण-अधिगम प्रक्रियाओं की एक विस्तृत श्रृंखला के लिए उन्हें नियोजित करने में सक्षम बनाती है। आईसीटी में आईटी और सीटी शामिल हैं। आईटी को डेटा या सूचना के अधिग्रहण, भंडारण, हेरफेर, प्रबंधन, ट्रांसमिशन या रिसेप्शन के लिए किसी भी इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरण या इंटरकनेक्टेड सिस्टम के अध्ययन या उपयोग के रूप में परिभाषित किया गया है। सीटी को व्यक्तियों या समूहों के बीच बातचीत भेजने, प्राप्त करने और आदान-प्रदान करने के लिए किसी भी इलेक्ट्रॉनिक सिस्टम के अध्ययन या उपयोग के रूप में परिभाषित किया गया है।

हाउलैंड के अनुसार, "संचार करने, स्टोर बनाने, स्टोर करने और सूचना का प्रबंधन करने के लिए उपयोग किए जाने वाले तकनीकी उपकरणों और संसाधनों के विविध सेट।"
यूनेस्को के अनुसार, "आईसीटी एक वैज्ञानिक, तकनीकी और इंजीनियरिंग अनुशासन और प्रबंधन तकनीक है जिसका उपयोग सूचना, इसके अनुप्रयोग और एसोसिएशन की चौड़ाई के सामाजिक, आर्थिक और सांस्कृतिक मामलों को संभालने में किया जाता है।"
